Target group
The module is aimed at technical specialists for the construction and operation of fibre optic networks as well as network planners and project managers for the implementation and monitoring of construction measures.
Prerequisites
Colour vision and spatial perception, understanding of the German language (B2 level)
Objectives
Participants will receive a sound introduction to fibre optic technology and the knowledge acquired will form the basis for professional installations and measurements in fibre optic networks.
Completion
Proof of knowledge as a Fibre Optic Installation Specialist (VDE) entitles the participant to take part in the advanced modules LWL03 (extension) and LWL05 (operation).
